About
Crafts Alive at Rodmarton Manor is an exciting opportunity for The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen to show its outstanding contemporary craftwork in an important heritage setting. Rodmarton Manor, built and developed by the Biddulph family, is a unique expression of the Arts and Crafts movement; our Guild continues their original vision - promoting fine craftsmanship, encouraging participation and bringing together communities.
Over 30 Guild Members will be exhibiting and selling their original handcrafted work; textiles, ceramics, glass, jewellery, wood, furniture, paper works, books and silverware.
A selection of the Manor’s rooms will be furnished by Charlotte Abrahams with contemporary crafts in response to the spirit of Rodmarton, and there will be plenty for children to do at the weekend with craft workshops, puppet shows and bread making opportunities. There will of course, be a café, with local fare prepared by a local chef.
