About

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This sequence of 10 evening lessons covers the fundamental aspects of drawing. Over the course you will gain confidence and more fluidity as a drawer using pencil, ink and charcoal. Each session takes one element of drawing as its starting point: line, tempo, generic/specific representation, volume, framing & margins, interior & exterior spaces, the use of erasure & tone, scale & proportion, perspective, and repetition & variation. Luci Eyers designed the course for drawers from different professions and levels of experience - with a bit of art history thrown in. Feedback and discussion within the small (max.10) group is an enjoyable part of learning within our friendly studio.
