Temporary Media Collective’s work examines the potential of sound to investigate boundaries, recasting our aural perception as a central agent.
About
Temporary Media Collective is a newly-formed group of international artists working predominantly with sound. Formed during our MA course, the collective is a platform for building community and testing limits whilst supporting each other across a broad range of sound-centred practices.
counter-mapping, our first show of 2024, takes place at The Crypt Gallery this February. counter-mapping is a charting of sonic peripheries uncovered by recasting our aural perception as the central agent, presenting a challenge towards the unknown and a speculative re-ordering of the future.
In the spirit of supporting sound arts engagement and bringing artists, writers and curators from a plethora of disciplines together, we would like to invite you to come and see our work.
The exhibition dates are 09/02 - 11/02 from 12pm to 7pm (165 Euston Road NW1 2BA). There will be a private viewing on Thursday 8th (7-9pm) and an evening of performances on Saturday 10th (6:30-9pm).
