Cosmopolis is an unprecedented platform for exploring artistic practices rooted in the research and sharing of knowledge, nourished by the dialogue they engage with the social, urban and political issues of our time. The exhibition presents the results of long-term scientific research and the work of artists in residence.
This second edition is dedicated to creative practices centered on the relationship between urban and rural spaces and the cultural, social and ecological implications of this geographic and economic overlap.
Resolutely prospective, this interdisciplinary event also presents a cycle of conferences and debates involving academics, NGOs , research groups, curators and artists. The public is at the heart of Cosmopolis # 2: they are invited to participate in workshops, conferences, study groups and concerts, and to continue their visit on the dedicated website, also a research database.
