Rottenberg’s surreal film installations examine the relationship between the body, work and production processes while also addressing such themes as global value-added chains, production in low-wage countries and precarious working conditions.
About
The point of departure for her film installation in a former Asian import store is an underground tunnel system supposedly connecting the border towns of Mexicali on the Mexican side and Calexico in the U.S.
