8:30 pm The event kicks off with a captivating performance by Gisou Golshani, accompanied by stunning visuals from artist Arna Beth. 

For their performance at Cosmic Ecologies, Gisou and Arna delve into experiments in fictioning, hauntology and reimagining futures through remnants of a crumbling present. Weaving cycles of death and rebirth through drone, noise and experimental ambient sonic spells, they echo reflections on grief, rage and hope. This is a continuation of their debut performance at Iklectik Artlab.  

9:00 PM  Yasmin Morgan will play ambient dreamscapes, a bit ethereal, atmospheric and glitchy. Morgan has recently been playing a lot of club-fast dance music.

********The first iteration delves into hyperstitions of the cosmic. Drawn from the inspiration catalysed from cosmic/celestial bodies, the project reclaims the return of magic that lies in the power of collective fictioning. It leads us to wonder how these imaginaries vibrate in our current social-cultural dimensions, planetary crisis and civil unrest. By questioning the ideas that are brought by technological-scientific platforms and how these affect our psyche. Instead, suggesting it serves as a narrative of mystical collectivity and affective fictions; these are drawn from the desire to connect to an intuitive form of energy. The hyperstitions extend into paradoxes with our reality, embracing non-human subjectivity, the metaphysical, extrasensory and aesthetic dimensions. In an age of mindfulness and awakening, artists Jeehee Kim, Jiwon Yoo, Evie MacSwiney, Arjan Guerrero, Lawrence Kirk, Huang Zi-Qing, Zoe Biagini-Jones, Arna Beth and Gisou Golshani unveil collective fictions of the cosmic’ to create new modes of the real or new imaginative spaces in the world.
