About
A recent acquisition to our Permanent Collection, Cornelia Parker’s print series Thirty Pieces of Silver will be on display in our Floor 2 temporary exhibition space, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy. Parker, who graduated from Wolverhampton Polytechnic, was elected a Royal Academician in 2010.
In this body of work Parker has re-appropriated a group of found glass photographic negatives of antique silverware, continuing her interest in objects and their histories, the material of silver, and the medium of photography.
