This is a fascinating and unique exhibition of screen printing today showing the variety of the medium by some of Britain's leading artists including Peter Blake, Damien Hirst and Gary Hume. It will also mark the debut of a new print series by renowned British artist Bruce McLean. Artists include: Ivor Abrahams, RA Martin Fuller Peter Blake Damien Hirst Sandra Blow, RA Gary Hume, RA Maurice Cockrill, RA Bruce McLean Michael Craig Martin, RA Brendan Neiland Brad Faine Justine Smith Terry Frost, RA Storm Thorgerson Coriander Studio is one of Europe's longest established and most prolific producers of limited edition prints for publication by international artists and publishers. Founded in London in 1972 by painter Brad Faine, Coriander has achieved a reputation as one of the finest producers of such prints in the world. As well as producing prints, Coriander also has a tradition of commissioning and publishing work from artists with whom they have developed a close working relationship. The first of these was Patrick Hughes in 1975, and since then such well known artists as the ones included here have collaborated with the studio, up to and including Bruce McLean. Coriander Studios' profile as leaders in the field continues via their technical prowess and groundbreaking innovation in all aspects of screenprinting. This has resulted in thirty six years of work that is widely regarded as a benchmark of quality in superior editioned prints. This exhibition will be a rare opportunity to see a carefully chosen selection of the best of Coriander by some of Britain's most well known artists. Each will make a singular and impressive seasonal gift and all will be available in time for Christmas.
