Lockdown gallery are very proud to host , Copy That 4 with Life Drawing Montmartre. The show consists of a selection of works from Life Drawing Montmartre Paris. The L.D.M specialises in figure as an art subject, one of the oldest themes in the visual arts. It is regarded as the most challenging, but at the same time the most satisfying of subjects to draw.
The LDM initiative offers untutored life drawing sessions to professional and amateur artists. Our subjects are always professional life models, working for the Académie de la Grande Chaumière as well other Parisian art schools and ateliers. The show is formed of drawings by various artists joined in L.D.M online sessions on 12th and 26th July and 9th August. The show follows our previous Copy That exhibition format. Where works are submitted via email and printed to create a physical show whilst also observing lock down conditions.
All works selected will appear in black and white A4 prints compilling a comprehensive and cohesive collection of diverse skils and interpretations on the same subject.
All the art will also appear in full colour, where appropriate, on our Lockdown gallery page so you can experience the originals too.
