Please join us on Wednesday 5th July 2017 from 6:30pm to hear Rachel Ara, Jacek Ludwig Scarso and Charles Harrop-Griffiths discuss their Controlled Realities exhibition work.
Controlled Realities looks at constructed environments and how modern-day media has blurred the lines between the real and the unreal. The three artists will come together to discuss how art has the profound ability to highlight the powers of control and different perceptions of reality as conveyed through their own personal creative mediums.
This is a free event. that will also include a guided tour through the works on display in the gallery. We will offer a valuable inisight into the artists' work including the 4m neon self-evaluating digital sculpture by Aesthetica Art Prize winner Rachel Ara and an immersive virtual reality experience created by our artist in residence Charles Harrop Griffiths.
