CONTINUUM: A PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL OF FUTURE FUTURES

Anchored in the present, future remains a distant concept that inevitably eludes our reality. CONTINUUM: a performance festival of future futures deconstructs the concept of future and its implications on us as individuals and collectives across time and space. 

CONTINUUM invites artists and audiences to imagine the future in a three-day multi-disciplinary festival that materializes at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club from 21st - 23rd June 2017.

We are currently looking for artists, performers, theatre-makers, musicians, live artists, filmmakers, video artists, spoken word artists, cabaret artists, drag performers, dancers, poets, site-responsive work, visual artists, installations, designers and more to complement our festival programme with works that respond to future.

We will accept proposals from artists who want to make brand new works around this theme and existing works.

19th - 20th June (get-in + tech)

21st - 23rd June (festival)

Budget:

We believe that all ticket sales should go back to the artists. All artists selected through the open call will receive a share of the box office and tickets to the entire festival.

Technical support:

Full technical support will be available to all artists, including Production Lighting and Sound. All support will be within the constraints of the venue and available budget. We will require you to send us technical requirements for your performance in the application. There may be an element of compromise and negotiation necessary to facilitate the needs of your performance within our means.
