BA Contemporary Media Practice at the University of Westminster welcomes you to a showcase of outstanding final year work
About
Each year, graduates from this specialist interdisciplinary course challenge the norms and limits of a range of visual media practices, including film and moving image, installation, interactive and immersive media.
In a contemporary world of competing media voices and allegations of fake news, BA CMP graduates rise to a challenge; to tell new stories, question the limits of media in our lives and bring new solutions in a 'post fact' world.
This year projects engage with issues of unaffordable living, the ongoing and escalating crises of migration, reality and alternative realities. In an era of virtual reality and artificial intelligence we ask questions about authenticity, solitude and the possibilities of regeneration.
Ambika P3 is one of the largest gallery spaces in London hosting international exhibitions. Join us on our opening night and witness the visually complex and multivalent work created by our students, from one of the first and only interdisciplinary, multi-media production degree courses in the country.
If you would like access to the Private View on Friday 16th June, 6:30 - 8:30pm, or additional information please contact Graham Evans: evansg@wmin.ac.uk
