About
COMA is pleased to Containment Field, a group presentation that will also mark the launch of a new gallery location, on Friday 15 February 2019, 6 - 8pm.In Containment Field, states of transition or modes of restraint are examined. The presentation explores conditions of holding during these transitory periods whether physical or otherwise - from digital image transference, to sex and gender experiences, to Soviet tattooing rituals. Containment Field seeks to explore these points of uncertainty and reveal the sense of freedom that comes with potential resolution.
Artists included are Manuel Burgener, Andre Hemer, Anna McMahon, Spence Messih, Adam Stone, Jelena Telecki.
