About
Rosie Booth's artistic practice explores the intricate relationship between containment and expansion, expressed through the themes of bounds, windows, and perimeters. In her work, both abstract metal perforations and drawings serve as conduits for this exploration, where each mark or puncture is a deliberate response to the last, creating forms that suggest both restriction and openness.
Inspired by natural patterns and meditative processes, her pieces require intense focus and sustained effort, embodying a commitment to precision and repetition. Rosie’s inaugural solo exhibition, "Container," at Bankley Studio, Levenshulme in November 2024, will unveil her ongoing investigation into how physical and conceptual boundaries shape our perception of space.
