Janet Rady Fine Art and PieceUnique are delighted to present Contact Zone, an exhibition of three contemporary artists, displaying diasporic cultural fusions through different media. The artists included are Oluwole Omofemi, Elfreda Fakoya and Blebo.
About
The artists partaking in this exhibition display a multifaceted exploration of identity, portraiture, cultural consciousness, and abstraction. Their works grapple with conveying their personal philosophies while simultaneously acknowledging their belonging to an inseparable collective identity. Through imbuing their art with contemplation, these artists encourage their audience to observe and celebrate the nature of humanity and existence.
Contact Zone is an alignmen of the material and the spiritual, in which artistic impulse marries technical research, forming a non-linear, simultaneous and sporadic environment of active cultural development. Through their own unique interior language - Oluwole Omofemi, Elfreda Fakoya, and Blebo - all embody a recognition of authorship; the knowing that their work is both a preservation of the individual self and a conservation of collective identity.
