CONSTELLATION: WOMENS INVITATIONAL SMALL WORKS
SHOW brings together 49 artists working across metal, fiber arts, photography, drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media and video to create a constellation of beliefs, attitudes and values as visualized by a range of established and emerging women artists from across the country and abroad.

Small artworks can provide a personal experience unmatched by bigger pieces. Small scale work invites a different kind of interaction; demanding close scrutiny and fostering an intimate viewing experience. Small artworks challenge perception and provide entry
into thinking about bigger subjects through the reward of a bantam detail or illuminating a larger understanding. A constellation of small works can reveal fresh associations, highlight patterns and more closely connect artists to viewers.
