21st Century connectivity has brought together artists from across the globe dedicated to collaboration and the cross-fertilization of ideas.
About
The Independent Circle of Artists (CIA), a group formed by six friends who met at art school in Nigeria, bring together artists from Africa, USA and London to make a show about the sharing of ideas and artistic currents. Gus Nweke, Austin Francis, Azuka Nnabuogor, Emmanuel Ozugwo Chimene, John Ogbeta, Ogbemi Heyman, Thomas Agboge are joined by London painter Jeremy Scott.
The curator, Agwu Enekwachi, comments that ‘there is nothing more enlightening that the coming together of people from familiar or diverse backgrounds to work on a project’. We have much more in common than we have differences. The work on display reaches out across the globe to prove this point in exciting and diverse ways.
