SE30 Arts co-op presents the UK debut of Connecting Rods, a social documentary project by photographer Julianna D'Intino.
About
Connecting Rods is a social documentary project by photographer Julianna D'Intino, ongoing since 2015. The work explores deindustrialization in the artist's hometown in Canada, focusing on the now-shuttered General Motors Factory where both her father and maternal grandfather once worked. The exhibition traces the economic and social history of the factory, exploring the benefits and detriments to the region throughout its history. This exhibition is the UK debut of the work and will showcase new portraits in the series, along with the full body of work.
