British independent artist Omar Obaid (b.1985) is an international best-seller. Creating original abstract paintings direct from his studio using a variety of techniques to add texture and definition to his work.
About
Omar enjoys creating large artworks filled with movement and colour. His abstract work is inspired by everyday life. This can be seen in his artwork from the strong gestures and movements in his brush strokes.
As well as producing new paintings to add to his collection, Omar works on large custom paintings and commissions with private and commercial clients across the world to create unique abstracts for home and office space.
Omar’s paintings persuade your eyes to gaze across the canvas allowing you to feel the emotions constructed by each brush stroke.
The more you look, the more you see; finding hidden meanings and stories beneath the layers of paint.
Omar Obaid is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of FineArtSeen, the online art gallery for original art.
Omar Obaid, an international best selling artist himself, took the leap by resigning from his position as Senior Associate at The New York Times to pursue his career as an independent artist. He said, “It was a bold move, but I had to wake up to pursue my dream. I was fortunate to realise my path early in my career, and with much hard work and determination, I achieved my ambition. Now, with FineArtSeen, my aim is to help other artists do the same.”
