Hollybush Gardens is hosting Gordon Robichaux for Condo London 2025, a collaborative exhibition by 49 galleries across 22 London spaces.The two-artist show brings together sculptures by Janet Olivia Henry, presented by Gordon Robichaux, alongside paintings and works on paper by Cynthia Hawkins, presented by Hollybush Gardens.
The exhibition celebrates Henry and Hawkins's long-standing friendship that began in the 1970s at the trailblazing gallery Just Above Midtown (JAM). Their work was recently featured in a survey exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York dedicated to JAM which foregrounded African American artists and artists of colour in New York in the 1970s and 1980s.
