Coventry based artist Colin Oddy is the next artist to be awarded an exhibition in the Bob and Roberta Smith CCCA (The Shed) at FarGo Village Coventry. Colin's working title for this exhibition is 'Concrete Reality' Colin has this to say about the work: 'This is a collection of stuff I've put together over the past year, or so, as little protests against events which went on including a stay in hospital, some sort of recovery, and right back to the top of the helter skelter again.....but ultimately the pros outweigh the cons. I am so lucky to have my friends on the pod collective, and thanks to them I'm exhibiting here at the c.c.c.a once again. Be good....' After the first solo show Colin joined Collective//Pod and in that role has been an ambassador for the work and creative ambition of the Pod and has proactively influenced and supported the direction of the Pods creative partnerships, commissions and event programmes.
