Artist, Delfina Munoz de Toro will be in conversation with curator, Gina Buenfeld.
About
Delfina Muñoz de Toro has spent years travelling the world to study ancestral cultures, visiting the artisans and healers who have inspired her own work in both music and painting. She will share her experiences and give an acoustic performance involving voice and charango, a classical guitar.
Delfina is one of four artists whose work will be shown in an exhibition opening at Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange in Penzance: Gäa - Holistic Science and Wisdom Tradition, curated by Gina Buenfeld.
This special evening will also include a screening of films from HIBRÍDOS, a filmic archive of musical rituals from the spiritual traditions in Brazil, produced by Priscilla Telmon, Vincent Moon and Fernanda Abreu.
Free admission, all welcome. CAST Café supper from 6pm, something hot and something sweet from £7.50. The talk will begin at 7pm.
