a launch party and an evening of performances and readings to celebrate COMPOST issue #2: Accidents and Emergencies

About

Join us for a launch party and an evening of performances and readings to celebrate COMPOST issue #2: Accidents and Emergencies. Live performance and readings will be undertaken by COMPOST contributors Daniel Oliver, Margarita Zafrilla Olayo, and guests.

Whether by intentional leap or unplanned calamity, falling is an art in itself. Falling. To earth. From grace. In or out of love. Through life. This issue embraces the accidents and emergencies that befall our bodies, by design or surprise. Grounding acts of falling and failing as exhilarating, terrifying companions. No one is promised a soft landing.

COMPOST is a bi-annual multidisciplinary themed arts zine showcasing creative work from a wide-ranging network of artists, performers, academics, writers and collectors, edited by David Caines and Mary Kate Connolly.
