A brand new exhibition showcasing works created by students of the Other Cinemas film school.
About
Come down to Metroland Studios to explore our latest exhibition in the Metroland gallery. This exhibition is a showcase of the work created by students of the Other Cinemas film school.
The exhibition and public programme around it will attend to themes that define the film school and culture at Other Cinemas. These include radical pedagogy, learning and sharing collectively, expanding and exploring our imaginations, relationship-building, working outside of an attention economy and culture of visibility.
The exhibition will open with a Private View on Thursday the 18th of July, to which all are welcome. The show will remain open to the public from the 19th July – 2nd August in the Metroland Studios Gallery.
The intention is for this exhibition to bring Other Cinema’s audiences closer to the work they do outside of their regular programming, giving their students the chance for their work to be seen and to be in conversation with each other, and to be a fun space to gather in!
