An exhibition about why we and other people collect things.

This exhibition by printmaker Hester Cox, ceramicist Charlotte Morrison and mixed-media artist Josie Beszant explores why we and other people collect things. The exhibition is motivated by examining collected objects and how they are displayed and how history and meaning is carried with a collection. Inspiration has been taken from Ryedale Folk Museum's own collection on display and behind the scenes and new works created in response to those objects.
