In their joint work "Collected Conditions", the artists Lea Abendstein, Laura Ettel and Katarina Michelitsch deal with the past in order to understand the conditions of the present and the speculations of the future.
About
The basis for this are digital archives, their own private collections of fleeting traces. The decisive question is less whether the amalgam used is of collective or individual origin, but more the fact that every pictorial manifestation, even in the digital, is of corporeal origin. The extent to which (self-)photography can be not only (self-)manifestation but also (self-)appropriation is explored by the artists in the exhibition "Collected Conditions".
