About
Collect is the only gallery-presented art fair dedicated to modern craft and design. Now in its 16th year, Collect has been instrumental in defining and growing the market for contemporary craft.
This year, Collect brings together international galleries from across the globe, each curating their own displays to sell work made in the last five years by the world’s leading contemporary artists and designers. With artists represented from over 25 nations from Sweden to Uganda to Japan, the breadth of exceptional work on show will range from ceramics, glass, metal, wood and textiles to makers working in non-traditional materials with experimental techniques.
For 2020, Collect is moving to a striking new home at Somerset House and is excited to be taking over a large number of beautiful rooms presenting a new environment for Collect exhibitors to contextualise and curate modern craft.
In addition to the main fair, this year's Collect Open presents a platform for 12 new ambitious craft-led installations by individual artists and collectives which will be showcased around Somerset House. The annual Collect talks programme will also return, exploring contemporary craft with leading voices from the worlds of craft, design, architecture, fashion and art. Access to the Talks Programme is included with any purchased ticket.
