Coffee and Conversation with the Artists

Saturday 13 April marks the final day of a successful exhibition at Northern Print and as a culmination of the show members of the public will get a chance to meet the artists, find out more about the ideas behind the work and put their questions to the artists at a ‘coffee and conversation' gallery event. Throughout March, visitors to the gallery and print studio have been fascinated by Orders of Scale, an exhibition of prints by three talented Newcastle-based visual artists. The show is the result of an artistic journey in which Alex Charrington, Rachael Clewlow and Nick Kennedy each collaborated with master printer Kip Gresham of The Print Studio in Cambridge to produce a series of prints that have challenged the artists' usual solitary working methods and informed their overall artistic practice. Rachael Clewlow and Nick Kennedy will be on hand to chat about their creative processes over a cup of coffee and there will be an opportunity to purchase limited edition original pieces through the Own Art initiative
