About
Miart Gallery London is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibition, ‘Coexistence’. Coexistence stands as the fundamental law of the universe, forming the basis of our very existence. Our reason for living is to cultivate the art of coexisting, which in turn teaches us how to live.
The exhibition explores the power of art to bring harmony across cultures and species, and an invitation to immerse oneself in the beauty of our diverse world. Featuring the works of three outstanding artists - Lars Beusker, Belgin Bozsahin, and Beto Gatti. Together, they delve into the connection between mankind and the natural world. The exhibition is set to take place in May 2023 at Miart Gallery London.
Lars Beusker, winner of the coveted Nature Photographer of the Year award at the International Photography Awards 2022. The artist's approach is marked by the ability to capture the intrinsic values of wild animals, by using black-and-white photography to eliminate distractions and focus solely on the animal's character. Through his lens, he captures glimpses of poignant moments that instantly impact and create an emotional response. His work conveys a unique approach to wildlife photography.
Belgin Bozsahin, whose works are inspired by body and soul, explores identity, memory, and cultural narratives. She produces artwork intuitively embedding hand-formed porcelain pieces onto slabs and using various stains mixed into the clay to create vibrant and abstract color compositions. Her work often features richly layered compositions that invite viewers to uncover hidden meanings and experience a sense of hope and beauty.
Beto Gatti's art captivates the exploration of two fundamental components that are deeply embedded in modern society: time and technology. By showcasing their intersections, his work invokes a futuristic perspective on today's concerns. Through his art, Gatti acknowledges the paradoxical nature of contemporary society while representing and interpreting modern human behavior. With its profound insights, Gatti's art invites us to explore the future while making sense of the present.
Coexistence promises to be an exciting and thought-provoking exhibition, providing a rare opportunity to experience the works of three extraordinary artists. It is a must-see for anyone who loves art, nature, and culture. The exhibition will be on display at Miart Gallery London from May 2023.
