About

The final Friday evening of the exhibition takes its cue from Leckey's 1999 work Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore — a compilation of found footage from UK underground music and party scenes of the 70s, 80s and 90s. The cavernous Space at Nottingham Contemporary will be transformed into a nightclub inspired by rave culture, the mass media, branding and digital aesthetics. Featuring electronic music by Rokk Dejay, Dirty Talk and Lovers Rights, COCKTAIL will also feature artworks by Romany Dear, Joey Holder, Its Our Playground.com, Candice Jacobs, Samuel Levack & Jennifer Lewandowski, Zephyr Liddell, Calvin Sangster & Tim Hattrick, Joey Villemont, Zoe Williams and Lucy Woodhouse. Curated by Candice Jacobs in collaboration with Zoe Williams & Lucie Akerman.
