A Digital Exhibition Curated by Noelia Portela
Exclusively on View on www.artcuratorgrid.com
Launching on October 22nd, 2020 — Live opening on Zoom at 6PM UTC+1
Paris-based Independent Curator Noelia Portela is kicking off our series of three digital exhibitions with the upcoming exhibition Cobra-cega curated with our new tool.
Founder of the experimental curatorial project, Persona Curada, Portela has been working closely with Brazilian artist Wisrah Villefort to birth this mind-blowing creative project.
Cobra-cega is both an exhibition and an interactive work.
Villefort research focuses on the nonhuman, digital matter, synthetic polymers, and their markets, and he has been developing a substantial oeuvre on hypermedia, therefore his metalinguistic exhibition will question the digital realm itself.
About this never seen before project, Portela says: “Constructing the exhibition in an online platform allowed the artist and me to collaborate from different parts of the world to critically explore issues of representation of non-Western art in western platforms and launch of cross-cultural dialogues with Art Curator Grid and its audience”.
Meet the curator and the artist on the occasion of our live Zoom opening, starting at 6PM (UTC+1) on Thursday, October 22nd.
