We would like to invite you to the closing party of the exhibition Als ob die Welt hier anders wär by Mafia Tabak as well as 7 Bilder & 1 Paar Stiefel by Jonas Mayer in THE BACKROOM on April 28 at NBB Gallery.
The main space of NBB will give you an unfiltered glimpse into Mafia Tabak's unapologetic world of thoughts, self-reflection and artistic practice all embedded in a living room type of installation of his own making. This exceptional exhibition creates a high level of intimacy between the viewer and the artist while utterly contrasting with the traditional 'white cube' aesthetics.
Meanwhile THE BACKROOM spotlights Jonas Mayer's favorite toys depicted in seven playful paintings which are accompanied by a wooden sculpture of boots.
