"Cleopatra's Pearl Earring" is a partly fictional visual story exploring how Queen Cleopatra's second pearl earring might have traveled across the Western world. Inspired by Pliny's tale of Cleopatra dissolving one earring in vinegar, the exhibition features 21 paintings, with 18 for sale.

1st Opening Night 1st October 5pm - 9pm. Free Entry. Wine, Soft drinks and canapes as part of HIVE Urban Farm Shop Hospitality.
2nd Opening Night, Date TBA 5pm - 9pm, featuring Guest Speaker Max Brandrett, Britain's Number One Art Forger; Max will be delivering a 45 minute audience with a Q&A seesion and slideshow.

Free Entry. Any donations to the Honesty Box would be very much appreciated. HIVEArts is run solely by volunteers and can still claim to be the best Art gallery/venue on the Fylde coast. You need to travel miles to find a space half as good and as welcoming.
Come and view the 'alternative' history of a piece of jewellery, one of a pair, thought to be lost, traceable all the way back to Cleopatra and Mark Antony.
