About

Cleaved Into is an activity pack prompting engagement with the University’s sculpture collection. To celebrate its launch, we’re hosting this creative writing workshop. Responding to some of its prompts, attendees will produce short pieces of creative writing that will be collated into a ‘zine to be given away with selected copies of Cleaved Into.

No creative writing experience or sculptural knowledge is required. All participants will receive a free copy of Cleaved Into.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please meet at the entrance to Stewart Mason and you will be guided to Room 010.

This event is part of LU Arts' Sculpture Week: a series of activities celebrating our campus sculpture collection.

Cleaved Into was produced by NEUSCHLOSS, a group of staff and postgraduate students at Northumbria University, who share an interest in collaborative and collective art making.

Accessibility

There is step-free access into the building and the workshop room.

If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of when running the event, please let us know via the booking form or email luarts@lboro.ac.uk in advance of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.
