Various clay hand building techniques spread out over 5 sessions.
About
Over a series of 5 sessions you will be introduced to a variety of hand building methods in a space which will encourage experimentation and collaborative ways of working. Focusing on unconventional ways of making and working with clay, you’ll be responding to found objects, developing processes of mark making, mixing clay types, and using these skills to develop your work in a direction that’s aligned with your own interests and ideas.

Florence Dwyer‘s practice takes interest in our relationship to the design of the built environment and through physical methods of enquiry, she seeks to question hierarchies and levels of autonomy in relation to this. Her work questions ideas of functionality and predominantly takes the form of ceramics, textile pieces, furniture and photography.
