Illumination Workshop
14 Mar 2025
the blackShed Gallery
Robertsbridge, United Kingdom
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore both the evolution of Polly’s work and the creative process behind it. You will be guided through the journey from initial studio research to the final pieces, gaining an understanding of how Polly brings her concepts to life.
As part of this immersive experience, Polly will transform one of the gallery spaces into her second studio for the duration of the show. This space will offer a live, evolving insight into her artistic practice.
As you continue further into the gallery, you will encounter the finished sculptural forms and works on paper that make up the heart of this exhibition. These pieces celebrate the vibrant colours and textures of the earth and landscape, particularly from the natural surroundings of blackShed, the Isle of Wight, and other locations across the UK. Each piece reflects the landscapes that have shaped Polly’s practice, engaging in a dialogue through the use of natural materials to represent them.
Polly is also offering a series of supporting workshops which will help and guide you through some of the techniques used by Polly in her practice. £55 each or both can be booked together for just £100
