Hauen & Stechen will bring their instruments with them – viola, tuba, accordion, among others – and let them sound individually and see how the unconventional, lonely voices can sound together - in a harmony that is more than the sum of its parts. The swarm's journey takes them to a brightly coloured postcard Italy. The imaginary Italy of collective rapture, far removed from any realism, is above all a musical country, with its two famous capitals Venice and Naples. Venice, known for the barcaroles of the gondoliers, the sounds of the carnival and Vivaldi's concerts... Naples stands for the nocturnal serenades, the tarantellas, the processions and the dances of the clowns of the commedia dell'arte...
