Club Liberty is celebrating the transient identities of youth, afforded by a choice of music. Music and the experience of belonging is a deeply personal experience and this documentary project is capturing youth culture in a chosen environment. The project originated in London where Smart is continuing to cover the diversity of sub-culture specific to dance music in nightclubs. These commissioned photographs were taken by Clare last spring at the WS1 nightclub in Walsall, West Midlands.
