This September, we’re showing a joint exhibition of new work from two of our longest-standing gallery artists, Claire Wiltsher and Colin Willey. Both are established landscape painters, each recognised by their peers. Claire’s award-winning impressionist landscapes are painted with vigour in her studio to a soundtrack of punk music. The result is paintings full of movement, packed with texture and suggested details. In contrast, Colin is a ‘plein air’ painter, setting up his easel on location and interpreting the view as he sees it at that moment. Familiar and much loved locations around Dartmouth are captured by Colin in this latest collection.
