BOTANICA seeks to explore Luxton's notions of strength and fragility, examining nature and the female form. She describes her collection of self-portraits as sculptural floral narratives, uniquely combining flowers, water, ink and resin.

Join us for the preview of Claire Luxton's Botanica exhibition, accompanied by a short talk from the artist, 31st October, 6:30 - 9:30pm. We will be also be exhibiting the artist's site-specific augmented reality artwork on the front door of the building. There will be drinks and cocktails served by Chivas whisky, and a makeup artist decorating guests with miniature floral artworks inspired by the work.
Selling her art internationally, she has collaborated with a variety of different brands form Adobe and Birmingham Royal Ballet, to Sipsmith Gin and London florists McQueens. Luxton effortlessly combines timeless portraiture with paint, animals, botanicals, nature and fantasy.

She describes her collection of self-portraits as sculptural floral narratives, uniquely combining flowers, water, ink and resin to create meticulously composed ecosystems as if seen through a microscopic lens.
