About
To coincide with the launch of City of Dust, a new publication by photographer Lewis Bush, and an exhibition of works at Westminster Reference Library, The London Arts Board is pleased to show an image from the series.
Photographed over the past four years, 'City of Dust' explores the relationship between walking, memory and cities against the backdrop of London’s continuing aggressive redevelopment, as charted in Lewis’ previous book Metropole. City of Dust views London as if it were a memory palace, an imagined space scattered with symbolic objects alluding to the city's past. The exhibition at Westminster Reference Libraryfrom 11th to 23rd July, and the publication are an opportunity to review this project at it's midpoint, and draw a small number of images together from this much larger, on-going body of work.
You can see and read more of Lewis’ work here: http://www.lewisbush.com/
You can see the exhibition online at: http://londonartsboard.blogspot.co.uk/, on Facebook or in person on the corner of Vestry Road and Peckham Road
