Co-curator/Lead Artist at STOPS in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea: Erin O’Rourke

After Uncooked Culture’s worldwide travelling art adventure in a suitcase & bags across oceans by the bags-lady as known as ‘Nok’, artist founder of Uncooked Culture - CIRCUS TERMINAL WORLDWIDE (2012-2014) completing 8 STOPS throughout the continents. It launched in Notting Hill London in 2012 then taking its journey to Barcelona SPAIN, Chateau Corbin, Lorraine FRANCE, Chiang Mai THAILAND, Boyertown Pennsylvania USA, Amsterdam HOLLAND, Wellington NEW ZEALAND Fringe Festival’14, Piran SLOVENIA and Paramaribo SURINAME in South America. Now the adventure continues on a route throughout the UK,

we call it ‘Circus in Terminal 15’.

The travelling projects and its exhibitions bring together work of art and inspiration from oversea and local artists. In 2015 the project has landed and continued the journey in the UK border with its domestic mission. Different selections of artworks from nearly 100 participating artists live and work in 15 different countries will be shown in rotation form one ‘Stop’ to the others.

‘Circus in Terminal 15’ (UK) has visual stories from all walks of life to tell, projecting a fish-eye lens of their life journey. From cats and dogs to aliens! From the most naïve to the most sophisticated layers of visual elements and application of mediums. A chaos of styles and artistic backgrounds unexpectedly leave the audience with inspiration and impression to take home.
