Monthly film night for screenings and discussions.

About

mima and Investing in People and Culture (IPC) invite you all to join us for viewings and discussions at our monthly film night.

This month we watch Selma, a film by Director Ava DuVernay.

A historical drama based on the voting rights marches led by Martin Luther King in 1965 from Selma to Montgomery. Alabama in 1965.

Screenings are followed by informal conversations about some of the issues raised in the film.

Feel free to bring snacks to share.

IPC is a Middlesbrough-based charity supporting vulnerable migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the Middlesbrough area. It offers issue-based community development and activities that elevate mental health and ensure social inclusion for new and emerging communities.
