Christopher Shaw is a Warrington-born figurative painter based in Bank Quay Studios. His artistic practice revolves around the human figure and the experiences we are confronted with throughout our existence.
About
This ambitious body of work, produced since graduating from Leeds College of Art with a degree in Fine Art, encompasses a vast range of subject matter from local to distant, past to present and explores themes such as power structures, art history, and ancient artefacts.
Together, this series of paintings shows a progression of critical analysis in the development of the artist.
