A great selection of work by new and established artists with gifts for Christmas in mind
About
Our Christmas exhibition will be a wonderful display of paintings, original prints, sculpture, ceramics, glass, automata, mixed media, photography, wood and handmade jewellery by our best artists and designer-makers with gifts for Christmas in mind.
We will be showing new paintings by Paula Sharples. Paula works in acrylic, ink and graphite on linen and also paper, she captures the Derbyshire landscape in the beautiful Peak District where she lives and works.
Paula has always loved pattern, so there is usually a decorative element in her paintings.
We will also be showing new work by Adam Ross who is a ceramicist using traditional ceramic forms as a means of sculptural exploration. He creates both sculpture and tableware each with their own unique quirks and personalities.
We have a selection of new linocuts by Angela Harding including the wonderful ‘Newby Hare’ and ‘Nightjar at Sea’.
