This course will begin with an introductory talk by the tutor, covering working practices as a painter, with art historical references.

About

The first two days will start with quick drawings from the model for the benefit of warming up. Students will then move on to a longer pose for the rest of the morning and a variation of that pose for the afternoon. For the remaining three days, the model will be holding the same pose for each day. It is recommended that students start one painting in the morning and another in the afternoon so as to keep a fresh eye. All levels welcome including beginners.
