The Postal Museum is launching a festive family programme of events from Wednesday 2 November, including arts and crafts inspired by the busiest time of the year for the postal service - Christmas.
Arts and craft activities include ‘make your own’ greeting cards, gift wrap, tag or festive sack. Other highlights from the museum include a Christmas-themed Mail Rail experience and a family trail featuring Tibs the postal cat.
Visitors can also immerse themselves in the museum’s magical collection of letters exchanged between children and Father Christmas since the early 1960s. In addition, the museum will display the first Christmas card dating back to 1843.
