This festive season experience Paddington Central's first-ever immersive winter lights installation - “Chords of Light”, a fully immersive lighting design by one of the most innovative design engineering studios working across the globe today.
Created by Tangent, the winner of the inaugural Lexus Design Award Grand Prix in 2013 and a recent showcaser at the London Design Festival, “Chords of Light” will illuminate Paddington Central with a magical winterscape from the 25th November until the 6th of January.
The contemporary sculptural Christmas Tree is composed of the latest optical lens technology and the world’s first “gold” coloured LED, with 32 individual spotlights illuminating the tree from around the surrounding area. Creating visible sharp beams of light across the Amphitheatre, the installation will delight visitors with a spectacular real-time light animation triggered when someone uses the hashtag #PaddingtonCentral on Instagram.
As one of London’s premier destinations for business and leisure, Paddington Central is set to be one of the capital’s prime destinations this winter, appealing to local workers, families and visitors from across London.
