This exhibition explores theintersection between the study of the mind and art, using Surrealism to delveinto dreams and mental health through the lens of automatism, the unconsciousmind and hybrid forms — where the real meets the imaginary and the psychecreates fantasy.

CHIMERAS showcases works that tapinto the dreamlike and irrational, highlighting how five contemporary paintershave employed Surrealism to express the subconscious, explore mental health,analyse neurodiversity, and challenge perceptions of reality.
From spontaneous, automaticcreations to meticulously detailed artworks, this exhibition reflects deeplypersonal narratives, revealing the inner world of the psyche and creating a"counter-reality" in the medium of painting.
