*PRESS RELEASE*

LETTER TO A

dear A,

i am not sure if we met at Z (by B and C and the rest of the Y peeps) in LA in 2015, but somehow a "CHILL OUT" sticker made it to the right rear view mirror of my fabulous "Saturn 1992 SL-2" - all sport in the front & family in the back, completely trashed, stick-shift car - that i bought for my stay. i sold the car to stefan reiterer who sold it to kerstin von gabain. kerstin did a painting project with it and we are all big fans of that particular car.

stefan and i will do a show at black ball projects in williamsburg, opening on nov. 13., titled "CHILL OUT" in reference to the sticker. we are making a book release about that car, a collaboration between us and kerstin. i talked to B to see if he had a good photo of the sticker & he came up with your name...

i was wondering if
1. you have a nice photo of the 'CHILL OUT' sticker
&
2. if you would be interested in contributing a of kind of ad for our publication?

we would be really glad about a 'CHILL OUT' participation!
looking forward to hearing from you.

thank you and all best from vienna,

axel & stefan

Axel Koschier (b.1980, Austria) and Stefan Reiterer (b.1988, Austria) have been working together for several years, and have organically developed a form of mixed-author practice. This interaction has resulted in various exhibitions and installations with hybrid elements of sculpture, painting and performative actions. With their duo-presentation at Black Ball Projects–this blurring of authorship will be taken to the next level, not only as the outcome of a collaboration between the two artists, but also between two artist-run-spaces.
